Thiiiiiiiiiis... is kind of every single conversation I've seen on Twitter wherein someone has wronged a person and everyone is gently trying to say, "Hey, that wasn't cool," and they come up with all of the reasons that they COULD have been wrong, but then waste the time that they could have used making restitution to pull back before that final step just to put in that pinch of, "but if you know me, you know I didn't mean," or "you shouldn't have said it that way, you don't have to be mean," and all of those same little stupidity that's propping up self-esteem and making it, once again, all about them. It's funny - especially when you get billowy curtains, bad hair, and gymnasts - but sadly those don't come with genteel racism on Twitter.
