The organization criticizing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan personally for the ad her photo was placed in assumes facts not in evidence. Do we actually KNOW that she was aware of what would be inserted in the background of the photo? Does anybody have a copy of the contract she signed when she agreed to the photo shoot? Maybe she waived her right to control over how her image was used in the ad, never imagining that the company would insert a slave child into the background. For all we know, she was livid about it when she found out but her contract left her no legal recourse. Tell me you’ve read and understood every line of every contract you’ve ever signed, up to and including every software user agreement you’ve ever agreed to.
