Late to the party here, but there is a reason he’s good at apologies — He has to make a lot of them for being a tool pretty regularly. Then again, I suppose it is educational for an awful lot of us white cis-gendered straight aussies. We seem to be a particularly unpleasant and backward lot a great deal of the time.

I checked out the comments on the Facebook page (WHY do I ever read the comments?) and was pleasantly surprised to see many comments not only from the community expressing thanks and appreciation but also from people who had no idea the term was offensive and thanking him for educating him. All is not lost!
