Once, my dad apologized to me in the third person… so I know how hard it is for some people to actually speak the words, for whatever their reasons. But, this man – with a heavy load of a mental illness – he could do it. This story gives me a big kick in the tush that reminds me, in my most reluctant, stuck and scared moments that, “Yes, you can.”
