“Caper?” Stealing rabbits and — KOALAS — is a caper?! Perhaps newspaper writers need to just retire that word unless Curly and Mo are involved with any incident. Agree that they need to interact with the school to make restitution. They missed that memo in preschool about making things right, but fortunately there’s still time…

You’re right. Yet I can imagine them thinking “We’ll take better care of those rabbits! We won’t keep them in a hutch all day and night! They can sleep in my room. If my parents notice I’ll say I found them in the park.” Robin Hood indeed.

Not like the teenagers a while back who decided to surprise their girlfriends by giving them koalas for Christmas, stolen from the SF Zoo.

I’m still stuck on the “good intensions [sic]”. 1) I don’t think anybody’s been able to credibly pull that one off since Robin Hood. 2) Good intentions? Seriously? That’s what drove stealing pets from kids?

I hereby sentence them to a month apiece in the Cone of Shame.
